About me and my therapy practice
I offer an integrative/person-centred approach using creative modes of working, as appropriate, which reflects my original training as an art therapist. I'm experienced in working with abuse, including spiritual abuse, depression, anxiety, cancer recovery, relationship & identity issues, low self esteem & trauma.
My approach to art therapy (HCPC Reg.) is integrative/person-centred. I have worked primarily with mental health and trauma in terms of my art therapy practice.
My metaphor for therapy is that of companions on a journey as we work together in a creative and collaborative process.

I work in a largely non-directive manner, giving space to the client to bring whatever issues they need without judgment. I offer a relationship based on acceptance, empathy and mutual respect in which, together, we can explore and co-create a process which is empowering for the client.
