Therapists’ Experiences of Working with Adolescents and Young Adults with Anxiety
This study aims to understand therapists’ perspectives on the challenges, adaptations, and training needs involved in supporting adolescents and young adults (18-25) with anxiety.
The research seeks to identify ways to enhance therapist training and improve therapy engagement and outcomes for this age group.
You will be invited to take part in a semi-structured, online interview lasting approximately 45–60 minutes.
The interview will be scheduled on a day and time chosen by you, and you will be sent a link for the online platform.
During the interview, you will be asked to discuss your experiences of working with adolescents and young adults with anxiety.
With your consent, interviews will be audio-recorded to ensure accuracy and later transcribed for analysis.
All data generated will be securely stored on a password protected university one drive computer account, in compliance with institutional and management policies.
Interview data will be anonymised to ensure participant confidentiality.
A participant information sheet and consent form will be provided before you decide whether to take part.
