From your calls to our Ethics service, we know you face many ethical challenges in your practice. It can also be difficult to keep up to date with the latest resources and developments, as well as all the other demands that working in the counselling profession brings.

Our new Ethics hub provides a central location where you can find all the latest information relating to the Ethical Framework and Good Practice in Action resources. You'll also find answers to the most common queries, so you can get the support you need, when you need it.

Ethics services manager, Jo Langston, says: "The Ethics hub will be a live webpage, and we'll be regularly updating it with new content and resources.

"We'd welcome members' feedback and suggestions. Please contact us at ethics@bacp.co.uk."

You will also, of course, still be able to request a call from our ethics officers.

Ethical support for supervisors

We're also pleased to announce our new ethics consultant pilot project, designed to offer support to supervisors who need additional guidance for ethical dilemmas presented by their supervisees.

The project will initially run for six months, but will be extended if members find it valuable. You can book an appointment with the ethics consultant through the Ethics hub.
