We’re looking for members to sit on two of our committees that oversee the activities of our Association.
We have three vacancies on the Finance and Policy Committee, which supports the budget process, creates our operational policies and looks after HR policies and procedures.
There is also a vacancy on the Audit, Risk and Performance Committee, which manages our risk profile and audits our operations against existing policies.
Committee members are appointed for up to three years. This may be extended for a further three years.
The committees meet four times a year, normally for a half-day, and members will be required to read through papers for each meeting.
With preparation, travel time and meetings, committee members will be committing around 10 days over the course of a year.
There is no remuneration for these roles, however we will reimburse reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out the role in line with our volunteers’ expenses policy.
