Our 2025 Supervisors Event has won a 2026 Memcom Excellence Award in the Best Non-Celebratory Event (costing less than £100k) category, following its nomination earlier this year.

The sold-out event, held in Leeds in September 2025, was created specifically for clinical supervisors, bringing colleagues together for a programme of learning, reflection and connection.

Bringing supervisors together

The event was developed in response to a gap in opportunities dedicated specifically to clinical supervisors, creating a space where supervisors could come together to learn, reflect, connect and feel valued.

BACP member Satinder Panesar, who was part of the working group that organised the event, described it as a “truly phenomenal event”, adding that it created something the profession really needed.

The programme brought together expert speakers and supervisors from across the profession, providing dedicated time and space to learn, share ideas and connect with others working in clinical supervision.

A true team effort

Rebecca Gibson, Member Resources Manager, said:

“This award is a fantastic recognition of the passion, creativity and hard work that goes into creating and delivering the event. A huge thank you and congratulations to everyone involved – the award belongs to the whole team. The evening was a lovely way to celebrate what we do and why we do it.”

The event was delivered through the combined efforts of colleagues across BACP, members of the working group and the speakers who contributed their expertise.

Another award for Therapy Today

Therapy Today was also highly commended at the awards in the Best Magazine (circulation more than 20k and income less than £5m) category.

The recognition follows its nomination earlier this year and celebrates the work of the teams involved in producing the magazine for our members each month.

SCoPEd communications also shortlisted

Our communications on SCoPEd, delivered in partnership with agency DTW, were shortlisted in three categories at the 2026 Memcom Excellence Awards: Best Membership Strategy, Best Membership Support and Best Integrated Membership Campaign.

The nominations recognised the work involved in supporting members through the changes brought about by SCoPEd and the collaborative work behind the campaign.
