About me and my therapy practice
I provide a caring, trusting, confidential place where you feel able to open up and learn about yourself, make links to your past and feel more at ease in the present.
How long it takes depends entirely on you and your needs. Counselling can sometimes last as little as six weeks, sometimes a year or more. I will always work with you to find the right time to end.
Practice description
I work with anyone over 18 years old and have experience in most areas of work. Examples of issues previous clients have brought are: anxiety; depression; loss and bereavement; relationship breakdown and difficulties; single parenting; OCD; work-related stress; confidence issues; childhood trauma.
My first session
I will ask you to explain a little about you and your past and hear about what motivated you to come to counselling.
Whether you have a clear idea of what you want to achieve through counselling, or need help with identifying underlying issues, we will discuss your goals and agree how to work together.
