About me and my therapy practice

How I Work

I am a trauma-informed psychotherapist specializing in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Therapy, and Positive Psychology. My approach is rooted in the belief that healing begins with understanding yourself, your patterns, and the protective parts within you.

I view symptoms—whether anxiety, depression, self-sabotage, or relationship struggles—as adaptive responses to past experiences. Rather than trying to "fix" or suppress these reactions, we work together to listen, understand, and unburden the parts of you that carry pain, fear, or self-doubt.

Using IFS Therapy, we explore your inner world—identifying protective parts (like perfectionism, avoidance, or overworking) and exiled parts (carrying shame, trauma, or emotional wounds). This process fosters self-compassion, emotional regulation, and deep transformation.

Alongside IFS, I integrate somatic techniques to help regulate the nervous system, supporting clients in releasing trauma stored in the body. For those interested, I also incorporate mindfulness and life-purpose work, helping clients reconnect with their inner wisdom.

I work with individuals struggling with:

✔ Trauma & PTSD (Complex, developmental, relational trauma)

✔ Anxiety & Depression (Panic attacks, self-criticism, emotional numbness)

✔ Self-Sabotage & Perfectionism (Overworking, avoidance, inner conflict)

✔ Relationship Struggles (Attachment wounds, emotional unavailability, fear of intimacy)

✔ Grief & Loss (Complicated grief, emotional pain, unresolved trauma)

My goal is to help you move beyond survival into growth, self-trust, and emotional freedom. Therapy with me is not about "fixing" you—it's about helping you understand, accept, and lead yourself with clarity and confidence.

Practice description

My approach is rooted in Positive Psychology, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Person-Centered Therapy, with an emphasis on Focusing and Somatic Awareness.

I believe you are the expert of your own life. That means our work is collaborative, with you guiding me through the process—because you are unique. You have your own strengths, talents, ways of thinking, relating, and evolving. Our sessions will center around understanding that uniqueness and uncovering how you might be unintentionally holding yourself back from happiness.

Using IFS Therapy, we explore the different parts of you—whether they show up as perfectionism, avoidance, self-criticism, or deep emotional wounds. Instead of trying to “fix” or suppress these parts, we will listen to them with curiosity and compassion, helping them step out of extreme roles and allowing your Higher Self to lead with clarity.

I will help reflect on patterns that may be sabotaging your potential for joy, often rooted in past experiences or protective mechanisms that no longer serve you. Through gentle exploration, self-compassion, and deep inner work, we will create a space where all parts of you feel seen, understood, and integrated.

If you are willing to work, challenge yourself, and stay open, I strongly believe you can define what happiness means for you—and ultimately, live it. Healing isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about reconnecting with who you’ve always been.

My first session

Your first session is an opportunity for us to explore what brings you to therapy, what you hope to gain, and how we can work together. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can begin to share at your own pace—there is no pressure to dive too deep too soon.

🔹 What to Expect:

✔ A relaxed, exploratory conversation where we discuss your goals, challenges, and what you need from therapy.

✔ An introduction to my approach, which integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), Positive Psychology, and Somatic Therapy.

✔ A chance to identify recurring patterns, protective parts, and emotional blocks that may be keeping you stuck.

🔹 Assessments & Self-Reflection:

I may invite you to reflect on specific aspects of your life or complete an optional self-assessment to help us understand your emotional landscape and attachment patterns.

🔹 Fee & Practicalities:

My standard rates apply for the first session, but if you’re unsure whether IFS or my approach is the right fit for you, I offer a 15-minute free consultation to answer any questions before scheduling a full session.

✨ Most importantly, this first session is about connection. Finding a therapist you feel comfortable with is essential, and I encourage you to tune into what feels right for you. ✨
