About me and my therapy practice
Welcome, and thank you for visiting my profile.
I’m Sian (she/her), a person-centred counsellor, spiritual coach, and holistic therapist.
My clinical experience to date has allowed me to work with a variety of clients and presenting issues. I specialise in working with people who may be struggling with their identity, self-esteem, confidence, or who are adjusting to a life change/transition.
Perhaps you are feeling lost, disconnected and vulnerable right now? Maybe you yearn for deeper meaning in life or a better self-understanding?
It is challenging and uncomfortable when you hold fears and anxieties, it can mean you don't know how to move forward which can feel overwhelming and as if you are trapped.
I will support you to have the space to find yourself, so in time you can begin to feel more peace and more control.
Together, we will navigate the complexities of your journey, addressing the uncertainties and taking the opportunity to heal through building your self-awareness.
If the spiritual element of life isn't on your agenda, that's ok. I have heaps of experience working with clients who do not identify with spirituality, and I respect that not everybody experiences the world in this way. I pride myself on meeting clients where they are, and regardless of faith or belief, you will be in safe hands as we work together to overcome the issues you are facing in a way that feels right for you.
My approach is person-centred, and compassion focussed. This as a way of being for me, both in my life and in my practice. I work with the belief that each client has the potential for growth and change. We all know what is best for us, but sometimes we need help to find the answers. Even when things feel like they couldn’t be worse, some part of us wants to overcome our struggles and grow from them. We hope for a better future. It is through the therapeutic relationship that this can be achieved.
Practice description
I will create a space of compassion, presence, and acceptance where you can connect with yourself on a deeper level. To have the space to hear your inner voice and to explore what it means to you.
I see the therapeutic space as an opportunity for two souls to meet. When we build a strong, trusting, and genuine relationship, powerful healing and transformation can happen.
Investing in counselling will give you the space to slow down, reflect and explore what is going on for you. Through the process, self-awareness and self-acceptance will be nurtured, helping you to make the changes you want to see in your life. Having experienced counselling for myself, I recognise the power of taking space and time for yourself. Over our time together, you will begin to heal, to discover yourself, and to reclaim your authenticity.
Harmony offers comfortable and tranquil rooms for us to be present and slow down.
My first session
Your first session will begin with a review of our contractual agreement and a discussion about your reasons for seeking counselling, including what you hope to gain from engaging in the process.
Once this is done, the remaining time will be yours to use as you like.
