About me and my therapy practice

Hello! I’m Pixie, an integrative therapist deeply passionate about supporting individuals on their unique journeys toward emotional well-being. I offer both short-term counselling and long-term psychotherapy for clients aged 16 and over. My integrative approach allows me to tailor therapeutic practices to suit your individual needs and preferences, ensuring a personalised and effective experience.

I specialise in working with neurodiverse clients, including those with autism and ADHD, as well as their loved ones. I understand that navigating the complexities of neurodiversity can present unique challenges, and I am dedicated to creating a safe and empathetic space for exploration and growth. Whether you’re seeking support in managing anxiety, improving relationships, or enhancing personal insight, I’m here to help.

With my experience in one-on-one sessions, I embrace a holistic perspective that considers your unique background and goals. Together, we can explore strategies that empower you to develop coping mechanisms, increase self-awareness, and foster resilience.

I believe that therapy should be a collaborative journey. My warm and non-judgmental approach encourages open dialogue, enabling you to express your thoughts and emotions freely. As we work together, my aim is to equip you and your loved ones with the tools necessary to thrive and navigate life’s challenges.

Practice description

At iMind Therapy Ltd, I am committed to providing compassionate and effective therapeutic support tailored to the unique needs of my clients. Co-founded in 2019 by myself, Pixie, and Dr. Neil Hammond, a consultant clinical psychologist, my practice integrates diverse expertise to create a nurturing environment for growth and healing.

I specialise in working with individuals who have autism and ADHD, recognising the unique challenges and opportunities that neurodiversity presents. My passion lies in offering both therapy and comprehensive assessments, ensuring that my clients and their loved ones receive the accurate understanding and support they deserve.

My approach is integrative and individualised, meaning I work closely with each client to develop personalised treatment plans that foster resilience, self-awareness, and emotional well-being. Whether you are seeking therapy for yourself or a loved one, my goal is to empower you with the tools and strategies needed to navigate life’s complexities.

At iMind Therapy, I believe that every journey is unique, and I am here to walk alongside you every step of the way. By fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, I encourage my clients to express their thoughts, feelings, and aspirations openly.

My first session

I believe in establishing a solid foundation from the very beginning of our therapeutic relationship. My initial sessions are designed to ensure that you feel comfortable and supported as we explore your needs and determine the best path forward together.

Free Initial Phone Call

To start, I offer a complimentary 10-minute phone call. This brief conversation provides an opportunity for you to share your concerns, ask any questions you may have about the therapy process, and determine if we are a good fit for working together. It's a no-pressure introduction that allows us to connect and discuss what you hope to achieve through therapy.

Preparing for Your First Session

Depending on your individual circumstances, I may send psychometric questionnaires for you to complete before our first session. These questionnaires serve as valuable tools that help me gain insight into your experiences and current challenges. They allow me to tailor our sessions more effectively to meet your unique needs.

Our First Session

During our first official session, we will delve deeper into your responses and explore the topics that brought you to therapy. Together, we will discuss your goals, expectations, and any concerns you may have. This collaborative approach ensures that you feel heard and understood as we embark on this journey together.
