I am conducting a study into the experience of psychodynamic or psychoanalytic counsellors/therapists/psychotherapists who have worked with or are currently working with clients who moved frequently in childhood. My aim is to better understand how this history impacts clients' ability to access and maintain a meaningful therapeutic relationship.

Participants will need to meet the following criteria:
- Are psychodynamically trained
- Have 3 or more years of experience working clinically
- Have worked with one or more clients who moved three or more times before the age of 16 without attending boarding school.

If that sounds like you and you would like to take part, then please get in touch!

Once we have made contact, you will be invited to attend a one-hour interview over Microsoft Teams. During the interview you will be asked questions regarding your experience with clients who have moved frequently in childhood. All answers will be pseudonymised and any identifying factors of the clients discussed will be removed. The focus is one your experience of these clients rather than the clients themselves.
