About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified BACP counsellor. I have experience in working with a range of emotional and psychological health difficulties including anxiety, depression, relationship problems and addiction. I also have extensive experience working in the voluntary sector for Change, Grow, Live- a nationwide organisation supporting people with homelessness and poor mental health. I offer one to one counselling in a secure and safe environment.
I have been trained in the Integrative approach and use a range of different counselling techniques such as CBT, Humanistic, Psychotherapy and Transactional Analysis, to suit your individual needs. I have a private practice based at Kent Counsellors, Havisham House, Broadstairs in Kent and offer a safe and trusting space to think and talk.
Whether you’re having relationship problems, family or job related issues, or just anxious about the future and what it might bring I will be committed to hearing your story and supporting you throughout the counselling process. We can meet in a first session and you can decide where to go from there.
The relationship between you and me as your counsellor will be a key factor that will create trust, respect and a good working relationship for you to express yourself and work through your issues and problems. It can be a difficult decision when going into counselling and a key moment in one’s life. You may be in great distress and overwhelmed by your thoughts and emotion, together we can make sense of what’s going on for you and how to help you move through into the future.
