About me and my therapy practice
At times in our lives difficult experiences and emotions can hit us all at once. Suddenly all the mechanisms that had helped you cope before can seem useless and inadequate. This is where working things through with a counsellor can really help to find a way forward, help to restore balance and be a healing process. Together we can explore what has brought you to therapy, learn how experiences and behaviours have shaped the decisions that you make today, develop an insightful and personal way to change and finally build and maintain resilience for life.
My first session
In the first sessions I will make an assessment of your problem and together we can set goals that are realistic and achievable.
I will explain the different types of therapy that I offer and see if you are specifically interested in one model above another.
