About me and my therapy practice

I primarily work in a Person-Centred way which means I provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental place to explore your emotions, thoughts and difficulties around any area you feel is important in that session. I can offer you an empathic ear, a place to leave your emotional luggage and someone to walk with whilst you’re having a difficult time. I can also provide a more structured approach utilising my Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) experience and qualification.

Person-Centred Therapy (PCT) offers you a way to offload your difficulties, but also to be able to explore your own emotions, feelings, frustrations, behaviour and how you view the world around you in order to gain a greater understanding of yourself. CBT provides you with a structured and a more solution-led format of counselling, which can assist in changing thinking patterns and behaviours which are considered maladaptive. In both modalities of counselling, my aim is to empower you to break unhelpful cycles of thought and behaviour so you can be the best version of you possible.

I also specialise in various modalities of communication, including play, music, art and performance therapies if this is something you would like to explore, but I also provide straightforward talking therapy which has proven extremely beneficial for my clients.
