About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I'm Ryan. I am a qualified Senior Accredited and Registered Psychotherapist with over 13 years of extensive training and experience in providing general (long term/ open ended) counselling for individuals as well as short-term, more structured, solution focused interventions, (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). I work with individuals presenting various forms of emotional distress, struggling with e.g., depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, bereavement, health-related issues, ageing issues, substance misuse issues, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), abuse, cultural and race issues, work-related issues, and psychosexual and relationship issues.

I gained my expertise in providing therapy by working for several uniquely profiled counselling agencies in London. Those were settings specialising in providing trauma focused / PTSD counselling for asylum seeking clients who experienced war crimes and extreme levels of violence (Mapesbury Counselling Clinic / Minster centre), with substance misusing clients (Brent Addiction Counselling Services), with elderly and bereaved clients (Age UK), and with clients experiencing anxiety and depression, self esteem, psychosexual, relationship and work issues as part of my private practice.

Practice description

My practice is based on integrative approach, what means that my work is informed by various therapeutic traditions e.g., psychodynamic, humanistic-existential and cognitive-behavioural, to produce a unique therapy format, tailored to client's individual needs. The practice is open to all those individuals who seek confidential, reflective and nourishing space to explore their way of living and any distressing issue that they are struggling with in their lives.

Each session lasts 50 mins.

As a senior accredited / registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy, I am committed to providing the highest standards of professional practice and confidentiality; I abide by the BACP Ethical Framework.
