Thank you for visiting my counselling page. I am a BACP registered, fully qualified and experienced integrative counsellor.

I specialise in issues that are important to women. Research shows that there has been a steady increase in anxiety and depression in recent years. 

Women today face numerous challenges, expectations and responsibilities. From sexism, stereotyping, motherhood, childbirth issues and infertility struggles.

I believe it is essential for clients to be active participants in their own treatment. I therefore work to create an empowering environment, to help them gain the tools they need to look after their own mental health. 

I aim to offer a place, where you can feel accepted with whatever you wish to explore. In our work together, I will help you feel at ease so you can talk freely. I will also invite you to express your feelings, thoughts and memories. This will help you gain greater self-awareness and insight, enabling you to move forward. 

I work integratively, this means I combine what I feel are the best aspects of the different therapeutic approaches to working with you. Depending on what you need, we can work short term on specific issues or longer term.
