About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes life can get on top of you, and feel more difficult than it should. You may be feeling stuck, unfulfilled, or unable to connect fully with those around you. I will support you to work through these feelings, understanding and accepting where you are right now, and exploring what you might want to do to move forward. I provide a safe, warm and non-judgemental environment where you feel valued and heard; a supportive space where you have the opportunity to talk about your life and experiences, working through things at your own pace.
Practice description
My training is in person-centred counselling and I draw from a range of approaches according to individual need. My background is in social work and mental health, and I have worked extensively with both young people and adults. I have a particular interest in childhood trauma and how this can impact on us as adults.
You have the capacity within you to find the answers and my role as your counsellor is to help and support you.
