I work Monday -Thursday 12pm-9pm 

Friday mornings and one 5pm Slot on friday afternoon.

About me and my therapy practice

I offer Counselling, psychotherapy to adults and young people who want to explore who they are, what they want and they don’t want in their lives.

I am experienced in working with people who struggle with high anxiety, OCD, low self esteem and confidence.

I welcome working with people who are Nero diverse 

I offer walking talking therapy for those who struggle with sitting still or prefer being outside.

I am trained in Transactional Analysis and use this to help the person explore their inner dialogue and how that effects their relationships with others.

I have over twenty years experience of working with young people and have been working with adults for the last 11 years.


Practice description

Hi

I’m Charlotte. I offer counselling, psychotherapy to adults and young people who want to explore who they are, and what they do and don’t want in their lives.

I am trained in Transactional Analysis and use this to help the person explore their inner dialogue and how that affects their relationships with others. I am BACP member  and trained in therapeutic counselling and offer a range of therapeutic approaches.

I work relational within a safe boundaried setting and have monthly supervision with an experienced supervisor. 

I consider it as a privilege to hear someones story. I talk and listen and encourage you. I won't try and change you. But if you want change then I will explore with you what that looks like and how you can realistically make those changes.

I believe that everyone has the capacity to access change in their thoughts feelings and behaviours.

In a confidential space I believe that I can support you in making these changes.

Hopefully the biggest change as a result of our work together is how you view the most important significant and valuable person in your life

The first session:

In this session I will discuss with you what you want from therapy

What confidentiality and safeguarding means to you and me.

Its an opportunity for you to talk about what experiences you have had from therapy in the past and what you want in the future

Its also an opportunity for you to ask me any questions about how I work and find out if I am someone you would want to spend an hour of your time talking about any changes you would want to make in your life.
