About me and my therapy practice
I offer individual one to one counselling from a comfortable, welcoming space right behind Eastbourne railway station.
I am happy to announce I have returned to face to face sessions, with Covid secure measures in place and I would love to welcome new clients.
I see each and every person as an individual with unique experiences. I will offer you a space where you can explore your experiences through a relationship where you can feel heard and accepted for who you are.
I hold a Postgraduate diploma in Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counselling from the University of Brighton. I previously qualified as a Mental Health Nurse and I have spent 8 years working in community services within the NHS.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and work in accordance with the ethical framework for counselling professionals.
I look forward to hearing from you to arrange an initial session where we can get to know each other and we can explore what brings you to counselling. If you would like to continue with regular sessions, we can then decide how often to meet and when, usually weekly. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
During the Covid-19 pandemic I have taken measures to keep us both safe when working face to face. I have a large clear screen that will sit on the floor between us, we will wear a face covering until we are settled in the room. Hand sanitiser will be used on entering the building and will be available throughout the session. The room will be sanitised between sessions.
My first session
Our first session will be a space where we can meet, talk about what is bringing you to counselling, talk about how counselling may help and explore how we could work together.
I am pleased to be able to offer the initial session at a reduced rate.
