About me and my therapy practice

Taking the step to seek counselling can feel daunting, especially if you are unsure about what sort of help you need.

Talking things through in a safe and confidential space with a trained outsider can be life-changing. It can transform your thought patterns, make your feelings clearer and support you through difficult periods in your life when things may feel too much to manage on your own.

I’m an experienced psychotherapist and counsellor and a registered member of The British Association of Counsellors (BACP).

As per the BACP guidelines, I continue to enhance my knowledge and training and attend regular supervision to support my work.

Most importantly I offer people the opportunity to experience a non-judgemental, confidential and safe environment to explore things that may feel hard to navigate alone.

Practice description

Perhaps there is something specific you feel you would like to explore further to gain more clarity or perhaps there is something that feels deeper and harder to understand.

We can think about your current and past experiences and how they are impacting your life and relationships in the present.

Whatever your needs, we can decide together what you feel will help you. My main aim is to help you on your own path of self discovery, instead of offering you the answers.

I offer short and long term face-to-face sessions in my private room in Chichester, West Sussex and online or via telephone.

For those people that prefer being outdoors or perhaps find traditional face-to-face therapy anxiety provoking, I also offer walking therapy in the South Downs National Park. Being in nature is known to release endorphins and that combined with the act of walking and talking can really help with processing your thoughts and feelings.

My first session

If you do decide to get in touch, we can have an initial 15 minute telephone appointment to talk about what it is you feel you would like help with and which mode of counselling will best suit your needs.
