About me and my therapy practice
I understand from personal experience that there are times in life when it can be helpful to talk to someone other than family and friends. Someone who will give you their full attention and will truly accept and understand you. This is what I aim to do in my work as a counsellor.
I believe that it is essential for a strong, safe relationship to exist between counsellor and client for therapy to take place. Therefore I will create a warm, supportive and confidential space where you may explore any difficulties you are experiencing or issues you wish to work through.
I am trauma informed, anti-racist and neurodiversity affirming.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified, experienced Supervisor and provide individual and group supervision to Counsellors, Psychotherapists and other professionals.
I see the two main purposes of supervision as:
- to protect the welfare of the people you work with
- to support you and to assist your personal and professional development.
Both these elements are equally important in order to ensure the well-being of clients, practitioners and the profession.
Practice description
As an Accredited BACP Counsellor/Psychotherapist I have been qualified to Supervise others since 2015. However, as I believe that Supervising is a distinct role that requires additional skills to counselling I undertook specific training at the Link Centre and gained a Diploma in Supervision in 2018.
In my training I studied with participants from different approaches to learn how to supervise both within my own theory and across other theoretical modalities. I would therefore, describe my approach to Supervision as Integrative.
I have experience supervising Counsellors, Psychotherapists and other helping professionals, individually and in groups, within organisations and privately.
