I trained and worked for Relate until 2010 when I left to work for the NHS as a Specialist Counsellor and sex therapist. The NHS stopped funding sex therapy in 2017 and I decided to leave in December 2017 to concentrate on my private practise. I am a qualified supervisor.

I have an office in Central Exeter where I see couples and individuals.

Sex therapy: Vaginismus, Pain - Dyspareunia, Lack of desire Menopause, Ageing, Premature Ejaclation, Erectile dysfunction, Sexual avoidance and performance anxiety. Sexual trauma/ abuse.

Sexual addiction for clients who have: an unhealthy relationship with a mood altering experience. A sexual activity that is used to modulate emotion, that feels out of control. A pattern of out of control sexual behaviours that causes a problem in their life. Compulsive masturbation, use of pornography, anonymous sex, chat rooms/online sex.

Couple Counselling: Communication, Affairs, Children, Divorce or separation, loss , Starting again, Life changes and Work issues

EMDR: working on memories and PTSD. Sexual abuse/ trauma.

I also supervises counsellors and trainees. I work for a number of EAP's and accept Bupa, Axa, Vitality clients.

My first session

The first session is for an hour and is an initial assessment. I gather information about your difficulties and discuss what next.

I work on-line and have some face to face sessions in Chudleigh and Exeter.


If you are having counselling elsewhere please talk to your counsellor and arrange to have a break or discuss an ending before commencing more therapy.

 Assessment session:  This is for an hour where we can meet and  I can start to  gather information about the difficulties and we can decide what next.  If you are a couple this assessment is done together.

If you are seeing another counsellor please talk to them regarding a plan to complete that work or taking a break to be able to start more specialised therapy.
