About me and my therapy practice

BSc Counselling Psychology, PGDip Integrative Counselling and Coaching, I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Existential Psychotherapy

I  am an Integrative Counselling Psychotherapist, Therapeutic Coach, and Personal Consultant, providing a safe, empathetic, and grounding space for you to bring your whole self to therapy. I specialize in depression, anxiety, and trauma. I work with individuals and families.

I offer a safe and creative space where you are supported to be and bring your authentic self into the therapeutic area. My passion and commitment ensure an excellent service is provided, and my approach is tailored to meet your needs. I work collaboratively, focusing on you as a whole person rather than solely on the presented symptoms. Here the working relationship becomes the vehicle for growth and change in your life.

I specialize in issues associated with:

Anxiety/Stress

Depression/Trauma

Childhood related issues

Low self-esteem

Practice description

I am also a Court appointed Deputy for mental capacity and an associate psychotherapist within the medico-legal field, specializing in the following areas:

Birth Trauma

Birth Injury

Maternal Health

Parenting

Mothering

Multiple Birth

Disability

Complex Needs

Neurodiversity

Carers

Siblings

Other areas of Counseling Psychotherapy I deal with:

Special needs parenting

Multiple birth parenting

I am a Therapeutic Coach and a BACP Coaching Executive Division member and a Member of the  Association of Coaching.

In my practice I collaborate with you, supporting the space where you learn to thrive. I support clients often experiencing unexpected life changes, disability, career changes, and self-development. I also help young adults with additional needs, including Cerebral Palsy and Complex Care.

I specialize in working with families and individuals whose role involves the care of special needs/disabled babies, children, and young adults. I aslo hold  a certificate as a special needs life coaching consultant and I work to ensure that they and their children or young adults with special needs have access to the support, encouragement, resources, and knowledge to lead happy, fulfilling lives.

Working with small business owners, charities, and neurodiverse adults. Supporting Wellbeing, Management, Communication, Relational organizations, and goals.

Personal Consultancy and Intergrative Therapy and Coaching

I also use the Personal Consulatncy model to integrate coaching and therapy into my practice. This allows me to integrate the depth perspective, offered by counselling and psychotherapy, with an opportunity to make constructive, practical changes, associated with coaching. This is possible because all of these practices, in fact, use similar skills, and their domains already overlap to a large extent. After assessement this approach  could be a suitable choice for clients in being able to meet their needs.

My first session

My aim, as your Therapist/Coach, is to be compassionate, genuine, and respectful while endeavoring to create the therapeutic conditions for you to achieve your identified therapeutic outcomes or Coaching goals.

The first session will include an assessment where we discuss and agree on how we work. This will include the duration and type of support needed based on the issues or challenges being experienced.
