About me and my therapy practice
Hello, and a warm welcome!
I am a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor, Wellbeing Coach and Yoga Teacher who specialises in Trauma, Mindfulness, Relationships, Women's Wellbeing and The Body. My style is holistic, non-judgemental and intuitive, combining diverse therapeutic approaches and coaching to suit your individual needs and goals.
I believe in helping clients join the dots between the past and present, to help heal the relationship between the mind and body. The collaborative and safe relationship between myself and the client is at the heart of my work, where you can expect a confidential and compassionate space to explore a range of issues.
It is rare we find a space or relationship in our lives which enables us to explore and make sense of the things that trouble us. We often fear judgement, being misunderstood or that the journey will be too painful. To talk and share your story within a non-judgemental, compassionate and empowering relationship is deeply healing. It enables you to tend to emotional wounds, gain insight and understanding, as well as develop new patterns and make important personal changes. This creates space for new perspectives, goals and healthier coping strategies to emerge.
You may feel unable to cope with present anxieties and challenges, are feeling low in mood and stuck, or have found yourself facing difficult life changing circumstances. It may be that you want to understand how your early life, traumas and relationships have impacted you, or that you need a safe compassionate space to voice your thoughts and explore your emotions.
My first session
Finding the right counsellor for you is essential, therefore I offer a free phone consultation where you can ask me any questions you may have and get to know more about the way I work. Following this, you have the option to arrange an initial session to gently explore what is troubling you, what you are hoping to achieve and how we can work together to best support you.
