About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced Therapeutic Counsellor and Member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).
Life can sometimes be difficult. Everyone experiences times in their lives when they need a little extra support. I understand how daunting it can be to even think about talking to a stranger, so I can offer an empathic, confidential space if you have an issue you are finding hard to deal with on your own. I recommend an introductory session in which we can discuss whatever is troubling you and see if you would feel comfortable talking to me. If so, we can work together to find a way to deal with it.
Practice descriptionI am a Person Centred Counsellor which means that we explore at your pace, your thoughts and feelings around what is troubling you at the current time and I also often use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques which can help clarify thoughts/behaviours/emotional reactions.
My first session
The first introductory session is charged at £25 and lasts 45mins.
This is a chance for you to discuss what is troubling you and we can see whether you feel you would feel comfortable working with me and equally whether I can offer you what you are looking for.
