Availability

I am currently only working remotely over the telephone or online which can be accessed using your mobile, tablet or laptop/desktop computer, due to this evolving climate we are living in because of Coronavirus.

I have some availability during the week daytimes and evenings. I do not currently have any availability on weekends.

About me and my therapy practice

The key to the way I work is in the relationship we build with each other.  I offer a safe space for you to explore your feelings and experience, as someone to be along side you on your journey.

I am an Integrative counsellor and I work in a person centred way - I believe that you the client are the expert in your own feelings and experience, although you may not be feeling like an expert in yourself at the moment.

There are many different reasons people enter into counselling -  it could be a life changing event, something you've carried with you for a long time or a feeling like you need to make a change but don't know what to do or where to look.  Your reason will be individual to you and we can explore that together.

Please feel free to message me if you would like to find out more.

My one to one individual sessions are £40 and my sessions for couples or other relationships start at £60 for an hour weekly or £70 for an hour and a half fortnightly. I offer concessions for trainees and people on a low income.

Practice description

In my counselling practice I work with individuals, couples and other relationships.

I currently work for two nationally recognised organisations in Peterborough and Cambridgeshire and and one local agency. I've previously worked as a Volunteer Counsellor for an LGBT Network in London, MIND - based in both London and Cambridgeshire and a local young peoples organisation.

Along with my counselling roles I am also a project worker with experience of working in schools and colleges delivering relationship workshops and a group facilitator for an Adolescent to Parent Violence (APV) programme.

My first session

When you first make contact I am happy to arrange a time to call you to discuss any questions you may need answering. If you would prefer to send any questions via text or email please send them through.

First sessions are a chance for us to meet, for me to find out some more details about you and for you to find out more about the what I can offer and the way which sessions feel.

Where we collaborate on working together, looking at hopes and expectations of working together therapeutically.

After an initial session, there is no obligation to continue if it does not feel like something you want to do, towards the end of the session it is useful if we discuss how the thought of us working together feels.
