This interactive Working with Coaching event will explore dual practice in greater depth, responding to member feedback for the division to “go deeper” into how dual-qualified practitioners actually work. The three-part format will give delegates access to expert reflection, division insight and direct audience participation on key issues such as ethics, boundaries, integration, client suitability and practitioner identity in dual practice

This in-person Professional Development Day (PDD) will broaden your knowledge on the theory and practice of working with groups.

This event will aim to help you have a better understanding of difficult situations that may arise when working with clients in an NHS Talking Therapies service or similar environment. We will be exploring better ways of counselling personality disorders and neurodivergence within a mental health service, how we deal with the cost of living pressures on our clients when working on the NHS frontline and how to prevent burnout through self-care.

This workshop will explore the impact of working creatively and the effects this might have on the therapeutic alliance. Video demonstrations will enable you to observe first-hand how to work with symbols, fairy tales and pictures in counselling.
