This in-person conference will be co-hosted by University of East London on 14, 15 and 16 May 2026.

This year's event will enable participants to reflect on some of the challenges and complexities arising in supervision practice today and enhance their awareness, understanding and the skills needed to cultivate safety in supervision.

9am morning session. An invigilated home-based assessment providing an entry route for members wishing to join the BACP Register. The computer-based, multiple-choice assessment uses case studies of practice situations to assess the skills, knowledge and abilities required to be a counsellor or psychotherapist. It takes about two hours to complete the assessment.

5:45pm Evening session. An invigilated home-based assessment providing an entry route for members wishing to join the BACP Register. We’re pleased to introduce a new member engagement event designed to strengthen the connection between the organisation and you, our members. This event will be used as a dynamic platform to reflect on the evolving landscape of the counselling and psychotherapy profession, celebrate the achievements of the past year, and, most importantly, amplify the voices of our members.

This network meeting is an exciting opportunity for BACP members to come together and share experiences, challenges, success stories, business ideas and get to know other therapists.
