When we adopted SCoPEd, we entered a period of implementation where we’re aligning our membership category entry requirements to the standards of the SCoPEd framework columns

An approved progression qualification demonstrates meeting high professional standards aligned to the SCoPEd framework and approved qualification criteria.

For BACP accredited members (or previous senior accredited members (awarded prior to 2023) who also hold column C membership with another SCoPEd partner.

For registered members who also hold membership with ACC, BPC, NCPS or UKCP aligned to column C of the SCoPEd framework.

An overview of the different accreditation routes accredited members will be able to use to become senior accredited members when the SCoPEd integration stage opens in February 2026.

For registered members who’ve successfully completed core training that meets the eligibility for individual accreditation but haven’t completed either a BACP accredited course or a BACP accredited or approved progression training (aligned to column B of the SCoPEd framework) since initial qualification.
