About me and my therapy practice
I see my role as your supervisor is to support and help you grow as a practitioner. I aim to work with you to support you in the work that you are doing.
I like to work in a creative way and bring this to supervision at times.
I qualified as an integrative supervisor with a Diploma in supervision in 2011. I work with a range of theoretical backgrounds and have knowledge of working in an IAPT service, in Substance Misuse, with a long term low cost counselling service and in private practice. I also offer group supervision for West Kent Mind.
I am able to offer supervision on a 1-2-1 basis or with groups of up to 4 people. I can also offer supervision via Skype/Zoom/Facetime or WhatsApp.

About me and my therapy practice
Having been qualified for over 20 years I have grown my tool box of skills to be able to adapt my way of working to what suits you best. I believe that your experience of our relationship is the key part of the work that we will do together. I am able to work using a range of skills including CBT and Psychodynamic.
I aim to offer all of my clients a safe and confidential space where you can talk about what you want to talk about, after all this is your time.
I work with adults in a individual, group or family setting and will taylor my approach to best suit your needs. I am also able to work with couples.
I have worked in a variety of settings from Community based substance misuse services, in-patient Rehab to NHS primary care.
Practice description
I work from my home in Otford, but am also able to offer session via Zoom/Skype/Facetime/WhatsApp Video.
My initial training was in Psychodynamic counselling but I have since had training in other ways of working and now aim to adapt my skills to suit you. I draw on the use of CBT and person-centred therapy in my work when appropriate.
I feel (& have experienced through my own therapy) that the relationship we will build is the most important part of the work. Through this we can explore and make changes to areas of your life you feel unhappy or dissatisfied with.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to establish if we can work together and if my way of working suits your needs.
Above all it is vital that you feel comfortable with me. Having had counselling myself I understand how daunting the first session can feel. I will do my best to put you at ease and answer any questions that you have.
