Availability

I offer online, telephone and face-to-face supervision. I am currently unavailable weekends.  12 Years NHS...4 years NSPCC...5 years CRI (Substance misuse) 3 Years Rape Crisis.  I carried out Supervision of students in all settings, except NSPCC where I was an Officer of the Court for abuse cases.  Supervision carried out  for Universities and Colleges. for students on placement etc.

Also have experience of Social Services (Child protection clerk) and working with Statutory Agencies.  I specialise in PTSD (Trained under Professor Bessel Vanderkolk).  I am available to Agencies, where I offer good rates and retain being an independent ethical Supervisor.   Telephone or zoom can be arranged. 

You are welcome to my office in my cottage on the river Crouch were we can explore ethical and creative approaches in your  practise for a sound clinical evidenced base.  


About me and my therapy practice

 Approved Supervisor for several Universities and colleges for students in placements.   

Worked with survivors of abuse - Mental, Physical, and Sexual.  Trained in Forensic Psychotherapy.    Specialised in PTSD and EMDR, Clinically evidenced,  Integrated therapy,  always underlined with a Person-Centred Approach. 


 

Practice description

All work is underlined with the Humanistic Rogerian Approach.

I work in Agencies or my own Counselling rooms at Wharf House Hullbridge, a private comfortable Listed building on the River Crouch, large free car park opposite.  

Private Councillors welcomed to explore your practice,  I have 30 years practice and experience at your service.  Prices according to Contract  and negotiable  rates for Students and Charities.

Availability

Therapeutic work can be done via zoom, telephone, or face-to-face but mostly in a calming safe environment within my grade 2 listed cottage on the River Crouch.

I only take a few clients, as I mainly Supervise, however at the moment I do have time available.  So if you would like an exceptionally experienced Therapist, now is an opportunity,  just give me a ring. 01702  231120 

About me and my therapy practice

A warm welcome in a safe place.  Here we can build a strong alliance between the therapist and client so to develop a tailored and meaningful therapy to address issues.  

I'm qualified in the use of  E.M.D.R  and specialize in Trauma. I focus mainly on person-centered and integrated therapy.  

 

Practice description

I have  worked as a Counsellor and Supervisor for 12 years in the NHS,  Mental Health.  I've also worked as Officer of the Court (witness support ) for the NSPCC  (for cases of Sexual/Mental/Physical Abuse). I was a Counsellor at Rape Crises and specialized in Substance misuse at CRI.

I am client-led.  Working at your own pace. I make it interesting, explorative, and creative for you to feel relaxed, and hold you safely whilst the process takes place.
