About me and my therapy practice

I am a non-judgemental, sensitive and compassionate therapist, with 20 years professional experience working across public, private and charitable sectors. Person-centredness underpins my practice. I can offer you space and time to explore what is difficult for you in life.

Would you like to feel happier, less worried, more content, less anxious? Have you become aware of patterns of behaviour you realise aren’t good for you, but don’t know how to stop? Do you feel that the image of yourself you present to the world doesn’t match how you feel inside?

If you find yourself answering yes to any of these questions, counselling could be beneficial. Whatever you are experiencing, I see my task as being alongside you as you seek greater understanding, less unease and more fulfilment.

Practice description

I completed a post graduate diploma in counselling at the University of Edinburgh in 2011.

As my work with clients has evolved, my approach has become more integrative. A particular area of expertise is helping clients manage difficulties in their working lives. Additionally, I have worked with students for many years. I have a wealth of experience providing both short term counselling and longer term therapy.

As I am also employed by the University of Edinburgh Staff Counselling Service, I am unable to work with employees of this organisation in my private practice.
