I offer telephone and online sessions, usually via Zoom.
I work flexible hours and will always try to offer a time that works well for you. Once we've agreed on a time and day of the week, we'll usually try to use the same slot each week. Our sessions will last 50 minutes.
About me and my therapy practice
Your sessions are for you to talk about whatever feels right that week. I work with whatever you choose to bring and won't make you talk about anything you feel uncomfortable with.
My clients often come to see me because they feel stuck or confused about something in their lives. Some are suffering from crippling anxiety which is impacting many aspects of their lives. Others are struggling with difficult relationship dynamics with their partner, parents, or children or other people they are close to. Some feel like their purpose or zest for life is missing. If any of these sound familiar, you're in the right place.
Practice description
Counselling is a confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions to develop a better understanding of yourself. I hope you will find me warm, authentic and supportive.
I aim to create an environment where you feel safe to explore your most uncomfortable thoughts and feelings. I try to listen so you really feel heard. I might ask questions to clarify my understanding of your experiences and, in turn, this can help you reach new conclusions or realisations. My hope is that through our work, you are able to build your inner strength to move forwards with whatever is troubling you.
My first session
It's really important that you feel comfortable with the person you choose as your counsellor. That's why I offer a free 15 minute session so you're able to ask me any questions you might have about me or how I work. I'll also use that time to understand what's bringing you to counselling and make sure I have the right skills and experience to support you.
