About me and my therapy practice

You might look like you’re coping well on the outside, you're managing work, relationships, responsibilities, but inside you feel anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly overthinking. Perhaps you’re the reliable one. The person others turn to. You hold things together, meet deadlines, show up for friends. Yet switching off feels impossible, your mind rarely rests, and you’re beginning to feel burnt out.

I work predominantly with people in their 20s and 30s who are high-functioning but exhausted. Many struggle with overthinking, people-pleasing, self-doubt, or feeling disconnected from themselves. I offer a calm, steady, person-centred space where you can explore what’s happening for you without pressure or judgement.

I believe wellbeing isn’t only a mind-based process. Our emotions, body and sense of connection are deeply linked. Outside of counselling, I founded Rootra Ltd, a separate wellness space bringing together yoga, reflection and community. There is no expectation to take part; I mention it simply because it reflects how I understand whole-person wellbeing.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. If you’re curious about working together, you’re very welcome to get in touch.

Practice description

Therapy with me is collaborative, gentle, and paced to your needs. I work primarily in a person-centred way, meaning our relationship is at the heart of the work we do together. I provide a calm, steady space where you can slow down, reflect, and explore what’s happening beneath the surface without pressure or judgement. Sessions are designed to help you notice patterns, process experiences, and build clarity, calm, and a greater sense of control over your life.

I am also CBT-informed and can introduce practical strategies if they feel helpful, such as grounding techniques, managing overthinking or anxious thoughts, or reconnecting with your values. These tools are optional and always tailored to your pace and needs.

I offer a warm, supportive environment where you can feel heard and understood, and where the focus is on what matters most to you.

My first session

I offer a free 15-minute introductory call. This is a relaxed opportunity for us to get to know each other, discuss what’s bringing you to therapy, and see if we would be a good fit. It’s not a therapy session, but a chance to ask questions, understand my approach, and decide if this feels like a safe and supportive space for you.

If I feel your needs would be better met by another therapist or service, I will talk this through with you openly and support you in finding the right fit. My intention is always that you receive care that’s safest and most helpful for you.

Once we agree to begin, we can schedule your first full session. Therapy is collaborative and paced to your needs, with sessions designed to help you feel more grounded, understood, and equipped to manage life in a way that feels authentic.
