I work in a reflective way, inviting you to talk freely in a compassionate and confidential space, in person or online. I'll listen, without judgement and together, we can explore your difficulties while identifying the strengths and resources you have to deal with them.

My work is underpinned by psychodynamic theory which pays attention to what underlies our thoughts, feelings and behaviours. It considers the way the past influences the present, how we relate to ourselves and others, the roles we play in life and why we remain stuck.

From a relational perspective, I believe that exploring our perceptions and expectations of ourselves, others and the world around us and making sense of them, can promote a shift in our way of thinking, feeling and relating. It can foster new perspectives, a fresh lens with which to view life and empower us to make more conscious choices in the here and now.

I offer counselling in person and online, between 9am and 5pm on weekdays with a limited number of evening appointments by arrangement.

I offer concessionary rates to parents supporting young people struggling with their mental health.
