About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative therapist, which means I take more than one school of psychotherapy into account. I especially draw upon Freudian, Jungian, and existential approaches. People often come to see me when they are fed-up of suffering and sense there is a better life available to them. Other times, when a life-crisis comes, or for couples when they want to work on improving their relationship.

Therapy is an impactful experience because it helps people resolve unwanted emotional life-patterns or behaviors, clearing the way for a more fulfilling life. The sessions are non-judgmental and are designed to help you explore parts of your life in a way that is contained within a warm and confidential relationship. My overarching aim is to help you overcome the reoccurring troubles that bother you, and cultivate the personal qualities that serve you best.

Whatever brings you, I believe distressing problems-anxiety, relationship issues, addictions, loss, life-stasis, depression- are most effectively resolved with some help. Please feel free to contact me via email to arrange a free 20-minute zoom consultation to find out more about how therapy can help you.

I was born in London in 1979 and came to psychotherapy by way of an interest in philosophy and Eastern contemplative practice. I have seven years experience working in both long-term psychotherapy in my private practice and in shorter-term NHS settings, as well as for addiction rehabilitation clinics and universities across London. Previously, I spent five years training at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education, and continue to undergo extensive training as a member of both UKCP and BACP, the UK governing bodies for psychotherapy and counselling.
