I’m Rachel, an Integrative Counsellor and founder of Replenish Counselling in Lisburn. I help overwhelmed adults regain calm, confidence, and clarity, supporting people who are:
• Feeling anxious, low, or stuck in old patterns
• Juggling work, family, and caring responsibilities
• Facing major life changes or transitions

Practice description
I believe the therapeutic relationship, the connection we build together, is at the heart of effective counselling. Feeling safe, understood, and accepted allows you to explore your thoughts and feelings more openly. This trust forms the foundation for real change, helping you develop new ways of coping, viewing yourself with more compassion, and moving toward the life you want. Our sessions will be a collaborative process, where your voice, pace, and needs guide the work we do together.
How I work
As an Integrative Counsellor (FdSc), I tailor our work to your individual needs using a blend of person-centred, CBT, psychodynamic, mindfulness, and trauma-informed somatic approaches. This means we explore not just your thoughts and feelings but also how stress and trauma are held in your body, helping you release tension, regulate emotions, and reconnect with yourself. My style is gentle but steady, equipping you with practical tools you can use now and in the future.
I offer face-to-face sessions (from January 2026) in Lisburn or online via Microsoft Teams, with flexible appointment times including early mornings and evenings. To help you feel comfortable, I also offer a free 15-minute phone call to answer questions and see if we’re a good fit.
I aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours. Please be aware that my emails can sometimes go to your junk or spam folder, so do check there if you haven’t heard back from me.
My first session
It is not an easy step to come to counselling even if you have been before, so I appreciate the courage this can take. As it is a daunting experience I aim to make this step as comfortable as possible. It is important that you find a therapist that you feel you can connect with, which is why I offer a free 15 minute chat so you can ask me any questions you may have about counselling and how we can work together. If you decide that I feel like the right fit for you then we will do a more in depth assessment in our first session.
