Availability

I currently see clients at varying times between 10am to 8pm, Monday to Friday. Send me an email letting me know your preferred day and time and I'll do my best to see what is possible.

I'm also happy to have a free 15 minute chat, so you can get to know me a little bit and ask any questions you may have.

About me and my therapy practice

I specialise in working with children, teens, students and young professionals.

There are lots of different pressures and expectation at this stage in life and I'd like to help unpick what is going on for you and help you let go of the things that are holding you back.

I've worked in both primary and secondary schools, the NHS, CAMHS and Barnardo's, with young people struggling with a variety of concerns.

I aim to create a safe, judgment free, opportunity for you to explore any concerns you may have. We can spend sessions talking or we can work creatively and use art, games, music and other techniques to unpick what is going on for you.

We will work at your pace, with no pressure to do anything you’re not comfortable with. It’s your therapy and I aim to be a collaborator in getting you to where you want to be.

I'm also happy to speak with schools, universities, social workers, social services, GP's, specialist services, parents and carers, on your behalf, if needed.

Practice description

I offer therapy online, so you can fit it in with your life.

We can also arrange to have sessions in your school, university or work place, if there is a private space and all parties are in agreement.

Sessions are private and confidential.

My first session

The first session will be different to the rest as it's an important time for me to get to know you and understand what you would like help with. I will ask lots of questions, but we will go at your pace and you don't need to talk about anything you don't want to.

In the first session we can start to pinpoint what you want to get out of therapy and set goals, if that's helpful. As sessions continue and I hear more of your story and better understand what life is like for you, we can try different techniques to find what works best for you. We can simply talk in sessions or if you'd like, we can work creatively.

I usually suggest to start with 6 sessions, as it takes time to build a relationship. We can then review how things are going and see what's working and whether you want to continue.
