About me and my therapy practice

I am a BACP registered psychotherapist offering online support via Zoom and have face -to-face availability on Monday afternoons, Tuesday & Wednesday evenings in Melton, Woodbridge

I provide a safe, confidential space for you to explore your whatever is going on for you. I believe our therapeutic relationship is key for you trust the process of healing your emotional pain. Often, we have conditioned ourselves to manage our lives using defences and sometimes negative coping strategies to not become overwhelmed with our difficulties. This can be a very lonely place...

I can help you to unburden from your difficulties and connect with you feelings. This opens the door help to bring healing and for many people the re-discovery of their authentic self. This process will encourage you to explore a new way forward with a focus on finding ways for you to discover what your current needs are. These needs may have have been unmet for a long time through challenging circumstances.

We all experience challenging and unexpected seasons in our life, such as, losing a loved one, a relationship breakdown, struggling with our identity and other challenges specific to our situation. Sometimes we may feel the need to carry on and try and cope with our pain. This can lead to feeling overwhelmed. This may be are you feel right now or are worrying you are heading that way if you don't ask for help.

From my own experience, taking the first step in reaching out takes courage. I found is so helpful to share with someone I could trust  and feel heard and understood.

Practice description

As an Integrative therapist,  I blend my theoretical approach specific to your needs. I work collaboratively to ensure you are comfortable in working with a particular therapeutic tool

The first half of our session will be setting out our therapeutic contract and explaining my way of working.

I will also check, for example, whether you like working creatively or would like information to take home, etc. We also explore your desired outcome of therapy. The second half is for me to hear your story or listen to whatever you feel comfortable to share in our first session.

I really look forward to working with you.
