About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified person-centred and integrative therapeutic counsellor, registered with the BACP and with enhanced DBS certification. Qualifications: Dip L5 Therapeutic counselling/ B.Ed.
I offer face to face therapeutic counselling for adults, young people and children aged 6+ in a comfortable, calm, private space just 3 miles from Lincoln city centre.
I also offer online and telephone counselling for adults aged 18 and over. This allows the flexibility of accessing my services from the comfort of your own home, any other confidential space and from anywhere in the UK.
I hope to accompany you on your journey towards authenticity, discovering the strengths, resilience, peace and joy that reside within you.
Practice description
My approach to therapy is gentle and calm, rooted in warmth and genuine compassion. I want you to feel truly safe, supported and heard in our time together, knowing that everything you share is treated with the utmost respect and confidentiality. You're welcome to bring whatever is on your mind, no matter how difficult and I'll be there beside you as we explore those thoughts, feelings, behaviours and experiences together.
I see you as a unique individual and I'm committed to meeting you exactly where you are, with empathy and without judgement. Creating a space for open, honest and heartfelt conversation is at the centre of what I do, because I believe that when you're able to express yourself and reflect freely, deep understanding and real change can follow. It's a privilege to witness the personal growth and positive changes that emerge from this process.
Although my practice is grounded in person-centred therapy, I know that each person's needs are different. If it feels helpful, I might suggest weaving in ideas from other therapeutic approaches, but I will always ensure our work is guided by you - your needs, preferences and pace.
I particularly enjoy bringing creative elements into our sessions, finding ways together to gently explore different aspects of yourself. My belief in a holistic approach to well-being means I encourage you to discover techniques that soothe and nurture both mind and body. Whatever your journey looks like, I'm here to support you in finding greater calm, balance and lasting change.
