About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Georgia. I currently work part-time at Northamptonshire Youth Offending Service mentoring children and young people to encourage and support a more pro-social lifestyle for those children who have experienced a variety of trauma. I am also a Freelance Children's Therapist for Kidsaid. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and a Master of Science degree in Counselling Children and Young People.
I am currently offering online sessions for those aged 14+ and am willing to travel to both primary and secondary schools, providing there is an appropriate and private space for me to see the client 1:1. There will be an additional fee for mileage, in this circumstance.
Practice description
I am a qualified integrated creative therapist, using different modalities such as:
-Psychodynamic/Person Centred
-Play Therapy
-Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
-Attachment
and many more for bespoke support
My first session
The first session will be free-of-charge for me to meet the client and ascertain if I am fit to meet the client's needs. After this, you will be sent a contract to sign and then a consistent day and time will be arranged for ongoing sessions. I also offer an interim and end review meeting with parents if desired at an additional cost.
