About me and my therapy practice
Hello! If you are reading this page, something in your emotional experience needs to be attended to, and I want to acknowledge that taking the first step toward seeking help can be challenging. You may feel stuck, in despair or worryingly numb, with no words for it, no way to understand it. You may feel alienated from yourself and those around you. The world might feel like an unfriendly place. You may have a vague feeling that life is not supposed to feel the way it does.
Psychological and emotional challenges are common and can affect anyone at any stage of life.
I am a fully qualified and insured psychodynamic psychotherapist with experience in specialist NHS settings and Community Mental Health settings. I have worked with people from a variety of backgrounds facing a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges.
I practice psychotherapy with integrity and curiosity, creating the space for meaningful exploration and lasting change.
Practice description
My consulting room is conveniently located in Waterloo, Central London, with easy access to public transport.
I also offer therapy online.
Sessions are held weekly and last 50 minutes.
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist, with a MSc (Dist) in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Counselling, University of London.
I have experience working specifically with issues including anxiety, depression, PTSD, identity issues, phobias, borderline personality disorder (EUPD), eating disorders and self -harm.
Of course, these issues are never the whole picture of the person.
My first session
Please email me to arrange a free 15 min introductory phone call, where we can briefly discuss your current circumstances and we can schedule the Initial Consultation.
The Initial Consultation provides a chance to explore your current difficulties and some of your history, and gives you the opportunity to see whether you want to start treatment with me.
You can then decide if you'd like to go forward, but you are under no obligation to do so.
If we decide to continue, ongoing weekly sessions last 50 minutes and take place at the same time and day each week, as agreed in our initial consultationession.
The fee for weekly psychotherapy is £75.
