About me and my therapy practice
In a world that never seems to slow down, it’s all too easy to lose sight of our own needs. Yet, by setting time aside for yourself, we can rediscover what is important to you and place value on your personal growth and well-being.
I am an Integrative Counsellor with a person- centred focus, which means that you are at the heart of what we do in our sessions. I recognise that you are the expert in your own life. As we are all different, I am committed to tailoring our sessions to best meet your goals and needs. Therefore, I may draw on other therapeutic approaches to facilitate your journey.
Counselling is a space where you don't need to have all the answers. If you're unsure what's holding you back or why you're feeling stuck, that's completely okay. Sometimes, the things that hold us back are hard to identify on our own.
Together, we will explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences, whilst identifying your inner resources. The beauty of therapy is that it meets you where you are, helping you make sense of your world and guiding you towards meaningful insights and positive change. Counselling can help you develop healthier coping strategies, break negative thought patterns, and build stronger emotional resilience.
My passion for listening and understanding others is deeply rooted in the belief that every person deserves to be heard and validated. My therapeutic style is grounded in warmth, empathy, and a down-to-earth approach, which I believe fosters a genuine therapeutic connection with my clients.
Practice description
Based in Ossett, West Yorkshire, I provide a safe, welcoming and confidential space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.

Alongside my private practice, my most recent roles involve working within a hospice setting, offering specialist bereavement support. In addition to working at a charity dedicated to supporting male victims of domestic abuse. My approach to counselling fosters a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship.
My aim is to create a space where you feel truly heard and supported, empowering you to recognise your own strengths. Through self- discovery and growth, I strive to help clients navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, strength and courage.
