About me and my therapy practice

A problem shared is a problem halved.

As a qualified and certified counsellor, I have years of experience working with and supporting clients from all different backgrounds, I believe in honesty and integrity in both my work and life, and I understand just how difficult it can be to face life's challenges.

If you are experiencing anxiety? depression or feeling low? Trying to make sense of what your going through in your life? Whatever feelings and issues you are experiencing, you don't have to struggle on your own. I cant promise to have all the answers but what I can offer is empathy, a safe non judgemental and confidential space for you to talk about anything that is bothering you.

When problems are kept to oneself, they can become magnified, and by talking about them, and taking a step back from your problems, this helps to reflect a different perspective for you, so in this process I believe its the clients that have the answers but I can help to bring them to the surface, working through them together one stage at a time.

Clients have informed me that the counselling process has been helpful to share their emotions with someone who is not close to them, to understand their emotions and themselves better, they have felt supported, listened to and found it a valuable process as part of their journey.

I work with clients using the integrative approach which enables me to draw from different modalities such as CBT, Psychodynamic and Person centred, I combine these to assist clients and their individual presenting issues, implementing them when needed.

For all enquiries please contact me directly through the official counselling directory or BACP website and if you have any questions or queries please don't hesitate to ask.

I offer a free initial no obligation chat over the phone upon request, clients can find this helpful to decide if I might be the right fit for them and if they would like to book a first session.

Practice description

I work with clients using the integrative approach which enables me to draw from different modalities such as CBT, Psychodynamic and Person centred, I combine these to assist clients and their individual presenting issues, implementing them when needed. I offer a safe & confidential space without judgement, meeting you at the stage you are at in your life & going at your pace.

My first session

In the first session I focus on what has brought clients to counselling and getting to know more about your presenting issue.  I very much value the person centred approach so the sessions are about what you want to bring,  you only need to share what you feel comfortable with sharing, and we explore whatever you want to explore in your own time.

If  you have any questions for me or anything you feel unsure about please let me know and we can arrange a chat over the phone or online.
