About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I'm Zoe! I'm a psychotherapeutic counsellor based in Bristol City Centre.
Exploring how you're feeling can be incredibly daunting and sometimes confusing. I hope to create a warm, non-judgemental environment that's comfortable for you, where we feel able to be honest and open with each other and you can share anything that's on your mind.
What will the sessions look like?
I won't analyse you or offer quick fixes, instead, I will be alongside you, helping you feel less alone when you're facing painful and upsetting things. I will ask some questions and we'll have back and forth conversation, but how much you want to share and explore is always up to you.
I'm a person-centred counsellor, which means I focus on how we can work together and create the changes you wish to see in your life. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and I'm here to listen and support you.
I genuinely love my clients and feel honoured that I get to experience their honesty, bravery and all the things that make us human!

What can I talk about in sessions?
Anything you wish to talk about is welcome, and I'm happy to explore and support you through all of the experiences and feelings you want to bring to counselling. We will go at your pace and there's no pressure to share anything before you feel ready.
My first session
Our first session will give us the opportunity to explore what you're looking to talk about in counselling, what you're hoping to get from the sessions and if we feel we're a good fit.
