About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative psychotherapist, meaning I draw from multiple evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Psychodynamic Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This means therapy is tailored to you—we can explore both past experiences and current challenges while incorporating practical tools for meaningful change. I believe therapy should be flexible and person-centred, allowing you to explore your experiences in a way that feels safe and supportive. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions, I provide a warm, non-judgmental space to help you gain insight and create positive change.
I specialise in trauma-informed care, working sensitively with individuals who have experienced complex trauma. My approach ensures that therapy feels safe and empowering, at a pace that respects your experiences. I also have extensive experience working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism and ADHD, and I offer neurodivergent-affirming therapy that respects your individual strengths and challenges.
Through therapy, you can explore your thoughts, experiences and emotions, gain a deeper understanding of yourself, and develop practical strategies to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and resilience. My approach is collaborative, meaning we will work together to find what best supports you and your personal growth.
Practice description
I offer online therapy via Zoom providing flexibility and accessibility for those who prefer therapy from the comfort of their own space.
Sessions take place weekly at the same time/day, as agreed upon in our initial session.
If you choose to continue therapy after our first session, I typically recommend an initial commitment of six sessions, after which we can review how you feel about our work together. At this point, we can decide whether to continue with an open-ended agreement, a fixed number of sessions, or to conclude therapy.
My approach is tailored to your unique needs, integrating different therapeutic methods to support your personal growth and well-being. Whether you are looking for structured strategies or a space to process deeper emotions, we will work together to find what best supports you.
My first session
Your initial session is an opportunity to discuss your concerns and get a feel for the therapeutic process. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’ve had support before, I will ensure you feel comfortable and understand how we can work together.
In our first session, we will explore:
- What’s brought you to therapy
- Your background
- Your hopes and goals for therapy
- How we will work together
This session is a chance to see if we are a good fit. There is no pressure to continue beyond this point.
Each session lasts 50 minutes and is charged at the full rate.
