About me and my therapy practice

I offer a compassionate, safe space for adults and young people (13+) to share their story and be truly heard. I believe that healing begins when we feel seen, understood, and not judged.

I work relationally and creatively using a range of therapeutic approaches to help the parts of you that may feel stuck, conflicted, or hard to reach.

I am trauma-informed, neurodivergence-affirming, and deeply committed to inclusion. I bring professional expertise, lived experience, and a genuine love for the therapeutic space to support you.

Beyond my practice, I teach counselling and work in further education, supporting learning, growth, and development, experiences that enrich the care I offer in sessions.

You are welcome here, exactly as you are. Reach out, and let’s explore whether I’m the right counsellor for you.

Training:

My training is grounded in a humanistic foundation, which means I focus on working with the person in front of me. I integrate a person-centred approach to create a safe, relational, and autonomous space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace.

Alongside this, I draw on a range of approaches to support our work together. Creative practices can help us explore thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to put into words. I also use CBT techniques to gently bring awareness to cognitive patterns and unhelpful thoughts, supporting shifts towards more balanced and compassionate ways of thinking. I also incorporate psychodynamic perspectives to explore how past experiences and attachments may continue to shape your present thoughts, feelings, and relationships.

  • Neurodivergent Practitioner.
  • Private practice. Face to face and Online.
  • Lecturer of Counselling skills and theory. Exeter College.
