About me and my therapy practice
As a person-centred counsellor, I believe that you are the expert on yourself and given the right conditions you will find your way forward and fulfil your potential. Our work together will help you to focus on yourself, blocking out the external noise, so that you can identify what it is that may be causing you to feel the way you do.
I will provide a confidential and non-judgemental space where you can express yourself freely allowing you to perhaps re-discover who you genuinely are and what direction you want to take in life. I will offer you a warm and compassionate approach where you will be met with empathy. My aim is that you will feel truly seen and heard.
Perhaps you have lost your way, are feeling overwhelmed, or are struggling with life and wondering who you are as a person. I will support you as we explore what might be preventing you from living a more peaceful and fulfilling life. I will be led by you ensuring that we only explore what you feel safe and able to talk about.
My lived experience, training, counselling and volunteering experience has helped me to gain a deep understanding of a range of life’s challenges.
Practice description
I offer counselling in a 1-2-1 setting in private counselling rooms in at The Pixmore Centre in Letchworth or at The Secret Space in Hertford, or online if that suits you better.
There is parking at The Pixmore Centre. Parking for The Secret Space is available at the nearby Tesco.
Before we commence sessions, I will ask you to read and sign my counselling agreement which sets out, in detail, how we will work together. We can discuss any questions you might have about the agreement either before or during our first session. I can also provide you with any further information you may need about counselling.
My first session
I understand it is important for you to find the right therapist for you. To help with this, I offer a free 15-minute initial telephone consultation.
