About me and my therapy practice

I am an accredited Counsellor in Person-Centred Therapy, offering a client-led approach that focuses on empowering you to build self-awareness, resilience, and practical coping strategies. In my practice, empathy meets structure: I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, supported, and understood.

I work with adults navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, stress, grief, life transitions, and neurodiverse conditions. I offer both face-to-face and remote sessions, adapting my approach to suit each person’s unique needs and circumstances.

Together, we can work towards greater clarity, confidence, and positive change, helping you move through life with more ease, balance, and purpose.

Practice description

I provide a warm, professional, and safe space for adults to explore a wide range of concerns. As mentioned, my approach is client-led, and is tailored to your unique needs, pace, and goals.

Together, we work to navigate challenges, uncover strengths, and create positive change in your life. Whether through face-to-face or remote sessions, my aim is to support you in feeling heard, understood.

I also offer tools for self-reflection, practical strategies for managing day-to-day challenges, and mindfulness guidance to help you strengthen emotional wellbeing. My practice focuses on fostering growth, self-awareness, and lasting change, helping you to achieve a greater sense of clarity, control and fulfilment in your life.

My first session

In our first session, we will begin by getting to know each other and exploring what has brought you to counselling. You’ll have the opportunity to talk about your concerns, any current challenges, and what you hope to gain from therapy.

I will then complete a brief assessment to help me understand your needs and ensure that the support I offer is appropriate for you. During this time, you can also ask any questions about the therapy process, confidentiality, or practical arrangements.

As we near the end of the session, we will agree on a structure and pace for our work together—one that feels comfortable, realistic, and tailored to you.

By the end of this first meeting, you’ll have a clear sense of how we can work together and what to expect going forward. This session is designed to be both informative and supportive, laying the foundation for a trusting, collaborative, and empowering therapeutic relationship—whether you choose face-to-face or remote sessions.
