About me and my therapy practice
I am a Person-Centred Therapist working solely online, offering a safe, confidential and supportive space where you are harnessed whilst you explore what feels important to you.My approach is humanistic at its core, grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life and whilst I provide you with conducive conditions to feeling seen and heard, only you has the capacity for growth and change.
I work by sitting alongside you, following your agenda, and offering empathy, congruence and a non-judgemental presence. Rather than directing or advising, I aim to support you in deepening your self-understanding, trusting your own inner resources, and moving towards the changes that feel right for you.
Sessions are held online at a rate of £50 per hour.
Practice description
I offer online therapy for adults who may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, life transitions, or simply a sense of feeling stuck or overwhelme.
As a Person-Centred Therapist, I place the therapeutic relationship at the heart of the work. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, accepted and valued, without judgement or expectation. My practice is rooted in empathy, authenticity and respect, allowing you the freedom to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own tempo and pace.
Working online offers flexibility and accessibility, enabling you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
My first session
I offer a free initial telephone assessment, giving us an opportunity to briefly discuss what has brought you to therapy and what you are hoping for. This is also a chance for you to ask any questions and to see whether you feel comfortable working with me.
If we decide to continue, our first full online session will focus on establishing a working contract between one another, exploring what feels most important for you to begin with and establishing our schedule of working. There is no pressure to share more than you feel ready to, we will move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.
