About me and my therapy practice
BACP Accredited Counsellor and IPT UK Accredited Practitioner qualified in Person-centred Counselling, Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression, Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) and Couples Therapy for Depression.
Also a Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression Supervisor.
Practice description
I am a highly experienced and highly qualified registered and accredited person-centred and experiential counsellor, supervisor, IPT UK practitioner and couples therapist for depression.
I have extensive experience working with individuals, helping couples where depression is impacting on their relationships and working with adolescents aged 16+, covering a wide range of issues.
I work collaboratively with my clients and provide a safe therapeutic space for them to talk about and process their feelings and emotions and help them to make sense of their world and move forward more positively with more self-awareness and skills to overcome the obstacles that life sometimes delivers to us.
I am currently delivering sessions via Zoom Video Calls or Telephone calls only as I do not have the facility to offer face to face work at this current time.
My first session
This would be a free telephone assessment up to 30 minutes (if this assessment runs past 30mins, you will then be charged £25 per 30mins after in that call), where we would discuss your counselling needs and identify if we can work together or if there is a more suitable specialised service that can help you.
Please feel free to drop me an email and we can arrange a telephone assessment. I currently have availability on a Wednesday/Thursday/Friday from 4.30pm or Saturday 9-12 1-3

About me and my therapy practice
I am a highly experienced and highly qualified registered and accredited person-centred and experiential counsellor and supervisor.
I can only be contacted in agreed supervision appointment times or via email, where I will try to respond within 24hours. It is suggested that the counsellor arranges a support system within their work place, in case of issues needing immediate attention.
Whilst, as a supervisor, I am concerned about the quality of counselling, clinical responsibility is not taken for the counsellor’s work.
As your supervisor, I shall provide training organisation reports as required, but only following discussion with the counsellor in supervision.
As a supervisor, I adhere to the guidance supplied by the BACP. Should ethical issues arise, these will be discussed in supervision. Any resulting action to be agreed upon as far as possible, but the client’s interests remain paramount.
Client anonymity is respected in supervision. Although supervision is confidential, ethical issues may override this.
Whilst the counsellor’s emotional wellbeing is a supervision issue, if personal issues for the counsellor become paramount, personal counselling may be required. This will be discussed in supervision.
In accordance with BACP guidance, equality and diversity will inform our practice.
Supervision requires openness and mutual respect. We will endeavour to work in a collaborative way that is both challenging and supportive.
Practice description
I am currently delivering sessions via Zoom Video Calls or Telephone calls only as I do not have the facility to offer face to face work at this current time.
I have been delivering Supervision within the NHS Talking therapies since January 2017 to trainees on student placements, completing their MSc in Counselling Psychology with Keele University, trainees completing the PCE-CFD qualification with Nottingham University and also to qualified Counsellors within NHS Talking therapies.
I am new to working in private practice, which is why my fees may seem lower than other supervisors at the moment.
My first session
This would be a free telephone/Zoom call as an introduction up to 20 minutes to identify your supervision needs and see if we can work together and I am the right supervisor for you.
Please feel free to drop me an email and we can arrange a telephone call/Zoom session. I currently have availability on a Monday or Friday morning between 7.30am and 9am or Saturday between 9am and 5pm
